Hi Everyone,

I've created this thread for 'riddles' about the Enid Blyton books, characters etc... Just a few rules:

1.Please don't go off topic...
2.Respond when you now an answer
3.Post a question when you need to
and, have fun!!!

Alright, I'll start:

They're quite smart,
Very like detectives but kids,
They love mysteries,
No, they're not the Famous Five or the Five-Find-Outers,

What are they?

IT could have been Barney books too or so many others. Well going to my ''riddle''
These three children and their pet are of great help to another boy-- they , in fact, save him. Who are they and inwhich book?

Are you the children from "The Boy Next Door"? I forget their names as my book is packed away

Just came across this thread - Snehalatha, if you're there, could you confirm Snugglepot's answer? It does sound very much like The Boy Next Door to me, too.

I can add the characters' names - Robin, Betty and Lucy, and their dog Sandy (and the boy they save is, of course, Kit Anthony Armstrong) - but Snugglepot, I'm happy for you to post the next riddle, since you answered first. :)

Game rules say that if it's more than (I think) two weeks anyone can move the game on by posting a new question.

If a week has gone by without a new question being posted, or perhaps without an answer being confirmed (especially if the relevant person doesn't appear to be around), then it's good to move on. In this particular case Senhalatha only logs on intermittently, but Snugglepot is around regularly and has given the right answer as far as we can tell - so if people agree I think it would be nice to give Snugglepot the chance to post a new riddle.

With a name such as Snugglepot, who could possibly object? :D

Nigel, as another Aussie, I can advise you that Snugglepot's forum name actually comes from this children's classic: :D

So all have agreed that I can come up with a riddle?
Here goes;

I am a loud mouth.
I love rhymes.
I am extremely well travelled.
Some readers find me annoying.
Who am I?

(Very easy I know)

And, yes! My name does come from the book "Snugglepot and Cuddlepie."

Hope I didn't embarrass you there, Snugglepot (and I'm sorry if I did) - just thought we'd better set Nigel straight!
