Do boys really act as girls, too? Pantomimes sound really strange.
Well, it's usually an older (and larger) male playing an older (and larger) female — the so-called "pantomime dame". Sort of like Dame Edna.

Anyway, must stop interrupting — Daisy has given an answer (and I don't have one!), so I'll butt out and leave it with you and her.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Coleus is correct Daisy. Over to you.

Interesting Courtenay. So they have a lot of Dame Edna type roles in pantomimes, always played by men?

Dunno, really — I've never seen a real British panto myself, only heard about them. We'll need to ask someone who has!

Name at least two things that Goon reported as being loose in the house from which the owner had fled in the middle of the night in "Strange Bundle".

Correct, Courtenay.
The very first sentence tells us that "Pip got out his painting things, poked the playroom fire and sat down to finish his Christmas cards."
Very well done!

Right.

What is the first disguise Fatty ever tries out on the other Find-Outers (including the name he gives himself)?

Aunt Pamela?

Let's get this quiz back on track with a relatively easy question. Which was the first book in the series to be illustrated by Treyer Evans?
'Go down to the side-shows by the river this afternoon. I'll meet you somewhere in disguise. Bet you won't know me!' wrote Fatty.
