Your answer doesn't really make any sense, so sorry. Please be a little more clear.

Well if you're referring to the story in a fill-in St Clare's story by Pamela Cox - the twins deceived everyone - I thought that was the trick you meant.

Yes, it was that story. But your answer would hold true for most of the tricks in EB books.

Oh well. I can't remember them playing a trick which affected the whole school. We tend only to use genuine EB books for this sort of quiz - I have only read the others once! I usually skip them when rereading the series. I surprised myself remembering this much!

Well, someone will remember. It didn't really AFFECT the whole school, but it tricked them anyway.

Things are getting hot in here...
'Oh voice of Spring of Youth
hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

Mehul hasn't looked in for a week. If he's reading this, perhaps he could either give a clue or accept Daisy's partial answer.

If he doesn't look in within the next 24 hours, let's just continue the game. Asking questions from continuation books probably isn't a good idea because far fewer people have read them.
"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.

"There is no bond like the bond of having read and liked the same books."
- E. Nesbit, The Wonderful Garden.

Would anyone start again? :D
