I have the DVD of Maid Marian now, but I've only watched a few episodes so far.
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Oh gosh, there I go again... I seem to be a menace for forgetting when it's my turn, don't I?!

The good news is, I've just thought of a quote I'd like to use next. The bad news is, I'm away from home until Wednesday afternoon and can't check my copy of the book in question to make sure I get it right!! :P So that's my excuse for the moment. But I'll get to it once I'm home, I promise.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

All of you were so good at guessing the phrase even with a few letters except me.

You were very nearly there quite a few times though!

All right, here we are! Hope this will be worth the wait. It's a quote (well, part of one) spoken by a character in one of Enid's books:

"_ / _ _ _ '_ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ / _ _ _ ' _ / _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ ..."

Anita must be psychic.

Seriously, I did wonder whether I should use a quote from the same book I took the caption competition picture from, but was hoping enough days had elapsed that no-one would notice. I should have guessed there'd be a fellow fan of the Adventure series who'd be thinking along the same lines... :P

Over to you, Anita!! Well done. That certainly breaks the record for fastest round of Hangman (or just about any other game here)...

Sorry about that! I thought the phrase probably began with "I don't" or "I can't" - and the rest followed!

Next one:

"_ _ _/ _ _ _ _/ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _?" _ _ _ _/ _ _ _/ _ _ _/, _ _ _ _ _ _ _.
"Heyho for a starry night and a heathery bed!" - Jack, The Secret Island.

I'm speechless... I mean I've seen people get the answer fairly quickly but that was something else!!

Seeing as I can't repeat that amazing feat I'm going to have to ask for an E to start with.
