Enid Blyton wrote a series of three books called Mister Meddle's Mischief, Mister Meddle's Muddles, Merry Mister Meddle!

I think the point is to make the clues into a sentence - using the letter and numbers in the order they are given. Now how do you know which order those books come in, Dave?

It sounds like you haven't entirely grasped the point of a ditloid, Sixret. Each letter or numeral or symbol stands for a word which you have to identify. You got the titles of the books all right, but not the first bit. Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it.

Quite honestly, Ilsa, I don't. However, that's the order they appear in the cave, so I think Sixret and I are probably safe on that point.

Dave is right, of course, and Sixret had got pretty far with it. I'd have been happy with the three titles in any order, though it's nice to have them in order of publication. Over to you, Dave!

In Humpty-Dumpty and Belinda, Jane's Doll (?) is a T-M

I can't get the last bit because I haven't read the book, I'm afraid. :D

Neither have I, Poppy! Have a look in the Cave - that's what I did. You're almost there.
