It's funny you should ask on the hangman thread what I make of this, as the nearest attempt I've come up with (and I know it's not right) is:

Elizabeth had two friends called Nora Good and Lettuce Wicked.

(Well, you did ask.)
He called the greatest archers to a tavern on the green.

"Elizabeth had two friends called" sounds quite likely. I was working with "Enid had two fox cubs" which I know is wrong
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

I came up with

Enid had two famous .......

Then couldn't think what the rest may be.
If I could live here on this secret island always and always and always, and never grow up at all, I would be quite happy

I wonder if the first word is not a name but something like "Everyone" ?

And I was wondering if the final words were 'netball games and long walks', but I do not who that would relate to.

Ern had 2 friends called...?

In my opinion, this game is more difficult than Hangman. Very difficult.
