Well I gave one 'glue' with saying it is an article of furniture. The room was very sparsely furnished and it sounds as if this was the only thing in it besides the mattress which they had to lug up the stairs themselves.

Gosh... I was going to suggest the back of a chair, but realised it's already been done!

I keep looking in the book to make sure I have got this right. There is another piece of furniture to be found in most bedrooms - at least I think so!

A wardrobe?
