I'll give you that John. No specific food was mentioned but one was meat and the other fruit!

Thanks Daisy. :D

Sticking with Valley put the following treasure caves in the proper order; books, gold, , jewellery, statues.

Was it the reverse of the order you have put them?

I'd forgotten about this. Now I notice that the question itself was flawed, the statues and jewellery were in the same cave as the statues were wearing the jewellery. The caves, in order, were Statues/Jewellery, paintings, books, gold. Sorry.

So over to you or anyone who wants to pose a new question.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Thanks, Daisy. Another animal question...

In The Mountain of Adventure, what was the name of the donkey that came back and stayed with the children (at least until they went into the mountain itself)?

Thanks Courtenay. In The Mountain of Adventure what was the "KIng's" real name?

No. Meyer was one of the baddies but not the king. It did start with M though.

Meir?
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

Nope. Sounded vaguely like the word Money.
