I think it was supper and Julian took a meat pie and a plate of jam tarts from the pantry and walked out of the kitchen with them. Not sure if the kind of meat was mentioned.

Thank you Farwa-- well , my question is-- What was the name of the cry -baby who turned up at Jock's place--- in 'Five go off to camp''? Jock's stepfather brought him along , when he realised Jock was knowing a bit too much about his deeds. :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)

Thank you, Nair Snehalatha. :-)
Next Question:
In "Five Go to Billycock Hill", what does Uncle Quentin get disturbed at in the starting of the book?

Farwa hasn't looked in since January, so feel free to check the book if you want and carry on with the game.

From memory I think a table being turned over was in Five on a Treasure Island - when Julian suggested " playing at wrecks". . It may have recurred in another book of course.

The question was "what does Uncle Quentin get disturbed at....." not by. On looking it up it seems he has lost some papers and accuses Joan of "tidying them" , then he strides from the study and falls over the children who are kneeling around a map on the floor.
