just like the topic of Famous Five Adventure BY YOU! except it is about the find-outers and dog, just add one sentence after mine (in a different post) so it makes a sort of story :D(hope i'm not making it sound difficult) it may not work as well of course, but it might be fun trying :D

here is a sentece to start us off :D

"when will Fatty come for the holidays?" asked Bets one fine sunny morning,

hope this is alright! :)

when will Fatty come for the holidays?" asked Bets one fine sunny morning,'It says here in his letter that he will be arriving at the train station at 11.45 tomorrow morning, he says he will be in a disguise weve never seen before, one he feels sure we will NEVER recognise him in!'said Larry.

The friends could hardly wait for the next morning to arrive.

As they cycled to the railway station, the children noticed PC Goon outside, talking to Lady Candling. 'What's up?' wondered Larry. 'Lady Candling looks upset.'

They decided not to bother just then but to ask her later as the train had arrived early and two people were getting off.

One was a rather plump lady wearing a voluminous green floral patterned dress and a huge floppy matching hat decorated with sprays of artificial flowers. The other was a young vicar with rather protruding teeth. But there was no sign of Fatty.

Larry nudged Pip and nodded towards the rather strange looking pair who were walking sedately towards the exit.

Suddenly Mr Goon appeared, stood next to Pip and said "if you've come to meet that interfering friend of yours you are in for a long wait" and walked off.

'Oh,by the way, said Mr Goon coming back to them,'this letter was put through my letter box early today,do you really think I would fall for another one of your pranks!'and with that he thrust the letter in Pips face and stormed off, creaking and heaving on his rheumatic limbs like a listing galleon....

Pip opened the letter.

"Dear Mr Goon" he read. "I have a mystery for you to solve. I would like you to attend my residence, The Old Orchard, this Sunday afternoon at 3 pm. I would also like you to bring along those fine children that I have often read about in the local paper. Yours, Sir Nicholas Grenville.

Daisy was still gazing after Mr Goon's retreating form. "What did you say Pip? she asked. "Read it again - a bit more slowly this time!"

Pip read it again. When he finished Larry said "looks like we may be able to keep this adventure all to ourselves. Now lets find Fatty"

They looked around, but no-one else had disembarked from the train. The vicar was now slotting some coins into the cigarette machine on the station wall, while Lady Candling was talking with the woman in the floral frock.
