It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

The Find-Outers suddenly realised this could only be the notorious Peterswood cat burglar.

As usual, the cats had taken over the house - the humans were shut outside. :D

I'll warm me with your echoes

I've already used that caption, Courtenay.

"I recognise that face, it's the famous cat burglar!"

It's on the previous page!

No, not at all; the reason I stopped writing was because I had a lot of stress going on in my personal life so I couldn't concentrate on writing and couldn't be bothered with it.
I still love my characters to death and have tons of stories and books about them, all either typewritten or printed, and folders full of drawings of them, right back to when I first created them and started drawing them and making up their background info etc.
I've got a huge long list of books featuring them that need to be completed. I'll get round to it at some point when things calm down.

(sorry to derail the captions!)

  Oops, sorry, Julie. Great minds think alike!! I'm happy to ask Nigel that my caption be withdrawn from consideration, since it was an unwitting repeat.

By the use of their brilliant disguise, the Five were able to Find Out that, yes, indeed, there WAS room enough to swing one in the little house.

The Famous Four had to admit that 'Timmy the cat' didn't have quite the same ring to it...
