Good luck with the radio interview, Julie. I always remember your first words to me when we met in that pub at Exeter; "It's your round". :D

Thank you so much for showing it to us, Julie. :D

I notice that your book has been listed on Book Depository but the book could not be bought as per today. I'll definitely buy it via Book Depository when the book is available. :D

As I said earlier in the thread, Sixret, it isn't out for release until 31st October, 2017.

I see you can pre-order from Waterstones, but that's all. You'll have to wait until Tuesday. :)

Love the cover! I particularly like that it is in that distinct 1970's style! :-D

I bet it was great to receive your copies! 8)

Thank you, Julie. :D

Below is the synopsis of the book. Taken from Book Depository.

We both waited for a few quiet moments for him to tell us his name, neither of us expecting what we heard."Mine is Edwin Lavin," he said, in quiet Cornish tones. "You've probably heard of me. I'm the son of the game-keeper, but I didn't start the fire!"A holiday in Cornwall for twins Sarah and Mark turns out to be something they could never have imagined after discovering the over-grown garden, the disused swimming pool, the stables and the mysterious boy. It actually turned out to be quite an exciting and adventurous holiday!

Well done, Julie! :D Nice cover and lovely photo of you with it.

The blurb sounds pretty intriguing! I look forward to buying a copy once it's available.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Thanks all.

Yes, I'm very pleased with the cover, Rob. I think it fits in really well with today's market for books. Simon has done a really good job, all from my saying to him - I want a disused pool, and an overgrown garden, with two youngsters looking towards a boy. :)

He has done a marvelous job - were you tempted to paint the cover yourself Julie?

I find the cover appealing too. I agree that the colours and style give it a 1970s feel.

I wasn't really all that tempted, Pete, but then I don't think my own art work is up to an illustration of sorts, and if I had tried to do my own, and the publisher said that they wouldn't be able to use it as it wasn't marketable for today's market, I don't think I'd have painted again.

It's all just beginning to sink in a bit more now, Anita. :)
