Lupita Tovar, star of the 'Mexican' Dracula, filmed simultaneously with the Bela Lugosi version has died aged 106. Now that's a pretty good innings!

Never heard of the lady but that is definitely a good innings.

Over the weekend, I have enjoyed watching the following version of Dracula - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Count-Dracula- ... nt+dracula" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; a very atmospheric adaptation of Dracula, featuring a good cast, and also location filming in Whitby, North Yorkshire.

Many Dracula afficionadoes say that this adaptation, with Louis Jourdan, is the best adaptation ever made of Dracula.
