His books are much cheaper on eBay than anywhere else, but I actually bought his latest book at Foyles in London.

Re: Victor Watson - Paradise Barn Series
Well Santa Claus heard my request (or read this thread) and I now own 4 Victor Watson books and have already read 4 chapters of Paradise Barn. So far I am quite impressed. I too like the map of the area as it does help to imagine the place better.

Re: Victor Watson - Paradise Barn Series
Santa did well, Daisy. Paradise Barn is good but I think each new title in the main series of four books is even better than the last. On finishing the series I found it a wrench to leave the characters after getting to know them so well. There's a fifth title called Operation Blackout which is a spin-off. It goes back in time a few years and revolves mainly around different characters but it's a great read too.

I'm well into book 2 now... enjoying them now I've become accustomed to his way of writing - which I do like.

I received two of the books for my birthday and the other three as Christmas gifts. I'm now looking forward to reading them in chronological order.

I have just finished the third book... I think each one is a little bit better than the previous one and I have enjoyed them all.
