Hi everyone,
I run a website called dunblobbin.com, all about the short-lived Crinkley Bottom theme park at Cricket St Thomas in Somerset.
While the main star of the park was of course Mr Blobby, Noddy had a significant presence at Crinkley Bottom and later became top of the bill when Blobby was booted out. There was a Noddy in Toytown walk-through exhibition with animated scenes from various Noddy tales, and Noddy and Big Ears were regularly seen walking around the park as mascots.
The park opened in the summer of 1994 and while Blobby was sacked in late 1996, Noddy remained at Cricket St Thomas until September 1998.
I am keen to hear if anyone has any memories, photos or home videos of the theme park during this era, as the Noddy element has largely been forgotten since Mr Blobby's House was left abandoned (and subsequently taken most of the limelight).
Many thanks in advance. Here is the direct link to the page on my site about Noddy: http://www.dunblobbin.com/noddy" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Welcome, Dunblobbin! I hadn't heard about that theme park but it's interesting to read about it and see the photos.

The Noddy feature must have been very popular with many children. Lovely pictures, thanks Dunblobbin. And what a wonderful pseudonym you have chosen!

Dunblobbin sounds like something Bill or Ben would have said! I know C St T very well. It's claim to fame is the setting for television's To The Manor Born and of course known for it's wildlife.

Thanks for the greetings folks, good to hear from you all.
Does anyone know who would have been in control of licensing Noddy to Crinkley Bottom during the 90s? If anyone has any contacts, please let me know.
