Article in Country Life Magazine

Post by mikki »

I was browsing in the newsagents today and on the cover of 19th April Country Life this headline jumped out at me:

Ripping yarns: why all children should read the Famous Five

Inside is a four page article by Flora Watkins. I haven't read it yet, will enjoy doing that this evening, but wanted to give you all the heads up.

From the title it sounds like a positive article. Thanks for bringing our attention to it, Mikki.

You're all very welcome. It's a lovely warm affectionate article, I enjoyed it very much.

I was afraid of that. Being on the western edge of Europe, our newsagent's magazines are often a little behind. There were loads on the shelf so I can pop back in today and see if they're still there, if anyone would like me to get them a copy?

It's great you can order it from the website anyway, at £3.50. Here it is €5

It's a shame I didn't see it earlier in the week. Mind you, I wouldn't have spotted it at all if I hadn't been loitering in there yesterday waiting to meet a friend.
