hi , had a good easter monday . --4 of us went to crich tramway museum , in derbyshire as it was a 1940`s weekend . people were in 1940s dress and there were lots of army airforce and navy renactors. there were trams to ride on and a special one for children who were being evacuated. there was music from the 1940s . a museum and artclies that churchill had used too . not secret any more. there was a french policeman , and some czech and polish soldiers in their uniforms to . good reenactors. it was a brilliant day
today i feel very flat and down after the excitement of yeasterday. what did other FFC members do ?

Brilliant, Sue! I'm glad you enjoyed your day! I live not too far away from Crich & the Tramway museum is always worth a visit! I went to a 1940's weekend event at Crich a few years ago, & loved it, especially the Spitfire fly past by the Battle of Britain memorial flight! :D

The Spitfire fly past was brilliant, Sue! It was definitely the highlight of the day for me. It's a pity the one you saw at Crich doesn't fly. I think that would've made your day if it did! :D

I went to Bodiam Castle in East Sussex today. It's a ruined medievel castle which is really famous and photogenic. It was a lovely day so I had a very nice time clambering around the ruins. :D

It reminds me a bit of Malory Towers, John. I've been there a couple of times recently.
