Honestly Pete, what will you come up with next? The only Gingerism I know of is to do with hair colour.... and some say if taken to extremes is as bad as racism. Enough!
I have been able to buy ginger beer (non-alcoholic) at times and found it very pleasant.

I tried my wife's lemon & ginger tea and found it surprisingly pleasant and refreshing.

My wife likes me drinking it as she says it leaves my cup/mug much cleaner than normal tea.

I used to like Ginger Beer, but haven't drunk Ginger Beer, for a long time, can't remember what sort of Ginger Beer, I used to drink, while reading Five on a Treasure Island, yesterday, I saw the first mention of Ginger Beer (chapter 11).
