Re: Ginger beer
Honestly Pete, what will you come up with next? The only Gingerism I know of is to do with hair colour.... and some say if taken to extremes is as bad as racism. Enough!
I have been able to buy ginger beer (non-alcoholic) at times and found it very pleasant.

I tried my wife's lemon & ginger tea and found it surprisingly pleasant and refreshing.
My wife likes me drinking it as she says it leaves my cup/mug much cleaner than normal tea.

I must admit I thought 'how did we get here from a Ginger Beer discussion!?'

Well, we got on to atheism in France, so I just thought I'd ask that question here.
Pete, what a way to get back on topic!
OK, back to Ginger Beer!

It was simpler, but I think now it's better.Daisy wrote: Life was a lot simpler when I was a child as Christianity was the main religion in Britain and other religions were almost unknown to children until we learned about them much later.
Exactly my point!Machupicchu14 wrote: And Sunskriti, that is your opinion, no one can argue about it, but of course it can change and develop over time.
OK, back to Ginger Beer!

Now you can truly call yourself a 'Blytonite'!!

Re: Ginger beer
I used to like Ginger Beer, but haven't drunk Ginger Beer, for a long time, can't remember what sort of Ginger Beer, I used to drink, while reading Five on a Treasure Island, yesterday, I saw the first mention of Ginger Beer (chapter 11).
