That's surprising - in a search, no new copies come up. You were lucky! 8) I haven't seen them being sold new anywhere for a few years now. Could you provide the link? :D I'd rather buy a new one to replace my tatty copy than a second-hand one.

I'm surprised no mischievous idiot has photo shopped The Enid Blyton Dosser and posted a picture in the joke thread! :shock:

I'm still intrigued as to why I can't see a new copy of the Dossier on Amazon, given Tony's and Deepeabee's comments. When I search, I only get this -

https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_no ... on+dossier

:? :? :?

I was just interested that Deepeabee had bought a new copy via Amazon...it must have been a while ago! :wink: Thanks for the link Tony. I've also seen a few on eBay - new-looking although not really new!! :-D

Sorry everyone if I gave the impression it was new! It wasn't new but excellent condition. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1899441700/ ... Gyb4SVAY44" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There's a copy on eBay for 99p at the moment, not sure if it's brand new but it's in very good condition by the look of it:

Or this one, but this is starting at £15:

I lost my own copy of the Dossier for about ten years and I sadly assumed that it had been accidentally sold as a new book at an Enid Blyton Day as I had a pile of new books there. It turned up at the bottom of a box that had things from an EB Day that I hadn't looked at for years. I knew I could never replace it as three of the people who kindly signed it are no longer with us, so some things have a happy ending!

That's brilliant, Tony! What a treasure! I feel privileged to have photos of Gillian, Imogen and Barbara and to have met them - but I never thought of getting signatures! Then again, I never produced such a brilliant book as The Dossier either.

I bought a copy of this book from eBay, probably after reading this thread. I've just got it out from the depths of the box it's stored in and I'd forgotten that Tony signed it for me!

Maybe I should get a reading copy as well?
