Look-a-likes

Perhaps not the most flattering look-a-like of Enid but it made me laugh nonetheless .....

I could see a look of Enid Blyton in legendary Blues guitarist Alexis Korner.

A little girl in the shop today said that Enid looked like the Queen!

(which was curious, because when I show pictures of the Queen as a little princess, and tell kids that she is now a very famous person, they often guess that they are looking at EB!) :?

I think it's that hair style. It's very much of a certain social class, age and era :)
I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die.

I always thought that Marcus Harris looked a little like Biff from the Back to the Future films!

No doubt about it, Margaret Hamilton who played The Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz bears a very uncanny resemblance to Enid Blyton. Here is a picture of Margaret taken later in her career, judge for yourselves. :D

An uncanny likeness, indeed, Petermax. Quite eerie in fact.

I have actually re-checked the source of this picture to make sure that I had not made a mistake. It really is Margaret Hamilton, here is the webpage where the picture appears.

Now, where is my Wizard of Oz DVD?

A quite amazing similarity. Perhaps its Enid's evil twin.

Does Harry look like Enid?

Here at thestudentguide.com our emails are down so we were wondering, does Harry Styles look like Enid Blyton?

Is it the vivacious curly hair? Is it the pouting lips?

Both have entertained children the world over and have brought joy to many.

The picture of Margaret Hamilton is amazingly like Enid. Somehow I couldn't quite see it in the original post, when a photo of Margaret with green witch face was shown!!! ;-) :)

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'
