I remember it well! And time went by much more slowly when I was 12.

It would be good to discover the book that this funny story was to go in, assuming it was produced. Then the mystery would be completely solved.

I can fully understand your irritation, but I hardly see it as so surprising. This website is the definitive source of information on all things Blyton and we must remember to the majority of the public, Enid is just a great authoress and many remember reading her books as children - often forgetting all about her for many years. If they have any queries then they will Google and find your email address from the Society website. You can hardly be surprised when people email you! I just hope they don't look on the forums and see your comments about them!!!
I agree with you!!
The society is obviously the number one place online for anything and everything Enid, so its no surprise to me that everyone flocks here when they want to find something out.
As everyone knows, the website is a complete treasure trove, so when visitors come here and see the wealth of info, they're bound to realise that this is the place to get their questions answered. :)

This is true. This is a very informative website, and only on here can you get the information you require with anything to do with Enid.

Even the publishers contact this site for information. :D
