As usual the cave lists all the titles that featured Enid Blyton contributions.
Books 1-9.

The book below is not listed.
I wondered why there was no contribution from Enid in the 1947 edition (above)which is obviously why it's not included in the cave of books??
I've just bought the above 1953 edition from ebay for the princely sum of 99p inc.delivery.
Admittedly,it's not pristine,but it does contain the Enid Blyton story;
A Noise in the Night
Illustrations: L. Caswell
Story: specially written.
Which is only in one other book.

I liked the dustwrapper on that one, Pete, and I think I might possibly have bought it, like so many other things I can't remember!! You are right though, it isn't in the Cave as it has no Blyton contribution in it.
P.S. I did buy it, I have just found it as it was with all my other Daily Mail Annuals, but it cost me more than yours as I paid £1 for it!!! Worth every penny as it has a wonderful wraparound dustwrapper.

Thanks Tony. You definitely got a bargain too.
Yes,I was thinking of looking out for it even though Enid does not contribute.
Perhaps she was really busy that year,or did not have a story to spare/time to write one?
My purchase is coming via 2nd class post (wonder how much that will cost them?) along with another different 1968 annual I spotted from the same seller - (also 99p inc. del).
I don't think there will be much profit if any left over for the seller from my two book purchase!
