The Surprising Buns
The Surprising Buns: Buns are regularly being grabbed, fondled and then stolen.
Who could the culprit be? Someone obvious,or even someone who would seem above suspicion?
These buns and this story has had a long shelf life, appearing from 1946 - 2016.
The moral of the story - crime does not pay.You will eventually come to a sticky end!

Re: The Surprising Buns
Your posts have so many double meanings!
Looks like a story worth getting 'stuck into'. Makes me feel a bit hungry though and we're right out of sticky buns.

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

Re: The Surprising Buns
See, Pete, that's what happens when you can't keep your hands off other people's buns!
What I'm really wondering, though, is why Mother Bustle in the illustration has what look like an insect's (or an alien's) antennae growing out of her forehead...

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
