R.I.P Cranberries singer Dolores O'Riordan

Post by pete9012S »

R.I.P Dolores. Passed away suddenly aged 46.

One of my best friends told me she wants the song 'No Need To Argue' by Delores played at her funeral.

Far too young. RIP, Dolores O’Riordan.

Terribly sad news. :( :( :( I had two of the Cranberries' albums in my early teens and absolutely loved them. No Need to Argue is one of their most simple and poignant songs, I agree. RIP Dolores.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I found this very moving just now, by the way — I was always aware that the Cranberries' hit song Zombie was about terrorism during "The Troubles", but I didn't know it was inspired by a specific attack in which two children in England were killed: IRA bomb victim's father pays tribute to Cranberries star
