That is lovely, Pete. Thanks for your sharing and everyone else's — this has been a lovely thread to read.

Incidentally, I found out where my Hastings friend got the "Seaside's Greetings" card that I posted earlier — she did buy it at Hastings Pier, and it turns out it's by a local artist, Guy Callaby, who's done many lovely Art Deco style pictures of Hastings, St Leonards, Bexhill and other nearby towns. Here's his website, for anyone who's interested.

That is brilliant Pete! They go so well together at a first glance it could be all the same card. I really like that, I love the way it now looks as if the children are making a snowman on the edge of a snowy village entrance.

I also love your late arrival card, the message on it is so true.
