They're lovely, Pete. I've given most of mine already, but have only received one so far!

Hope you don't mind Rob, but I thought your picture on the other thread would make a super Christmas Card!

Thank you!
I received another Christmas Card today - but I'm not sure exactly what the creature is on the front? Perhaps John (P) may know??

Looks like a baby emperor penguin to me, but I'm not the avifauna expert...

Yes, I do believe you are right Courtenay - I'm sure John will confirm when he next drops in.

Courtenay is right. It's a penguin. Looks as if it's been on the sherry too.

Re: Nice Christmas Cards
Stunning cards, Pete! We've had some heavenly ones - alas scanning isn't my forte otherwise I'd be happy to share them! I love lots of sparkle and glitz on the cards I choose, the only place that sells just what I want is Clinton Cards, usually get them after Christmas (as on 26/12 ) when luxury boxes and rollwrap are marked down to well under half price, but this year's Black Friday event was so irresistible we're stocked up for about 3 years...

Re: Nice Christmas Cards
Thank you floragord. You certainly seem well stocked up with a goodly supply of nice Christmas cards.
This card arrived today. It's a bit more subtle and it made me think that many many years ago all the decorations used for Christmas would have come from nature in the colours of Christmas, red and green.
