An 'apeth is a fool so it's 'you daft fool'

Is 'e 'eckers like is can expression of disbelief:

person 1 "it's snowing outside"
person 2 "is it 'eckers like, it's summer!"

Both 'eckers and 'apeth would really have a 'h' where the ' is, but the h goes. 'home' and 'hospital' for instance would be 'ome and 'ospital

Ah, I see. Is 'apeth an h-less version of ha'p'orth, as in short for half-penny-worth? :D
