RIP 'Grotbags'

Post by Rob Houghton »

Many people probably won't remember 'Grotbags' the witch, played by Carol lee Scott - but she was another face from my childhood/teenage years - on the Rod Hull 'Pink Windmill' show 'Emu's World in the 1980's.

RIP 'Grotbags' - aged 74. :-(

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

I remember her. I haven't thought about her in ages.

Yes R.I.P. Here she is appearing on the Graham Norton show in later years.
