How art can be used to fool the eyes - Elgin Park..

I found this artist's work fascinating!
Artist Uses Perspective, Miniature Car Models And A $250 Camera To Create Realistic Historical Photos

His pictures are an excellent example of how art can be used to fool the eyes.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

I had seen the second picture (with the pink house) before but not the others. Amazing what the right camera angle can do.

And in reverse I like the technique used when taking photos from the air that makes real buildings etc look like miniatures.
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

That's brilliant, they look so real! What beautiful cars they had years ago, so much more character and pleasing to the eye than the run of the mill things of today.

very clever! Just shows how the eye can be tricked!

Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'
