Regarding Photobucket, I believe they're in the process of changing their policy and are now bringing in charges for hosting pictures to be displayed on websites. Some people's accounts have already been affected but others haven't - yet! At the moment I can still display Photobucket photos on websites free of charge (I posted three photos on this website on Monday and Tuesday) but I know some people are already unable to do that unless they agree to pay quite a hefty fee!
I've no idea why your picture only shows sometimes, Fiona! However, if links are unaffected we could always go back to our embedded photos and turn them into links!

I suspect we shall all be moving to alternate picture hosting sites then!
Brodie is very good at looking like an angel, and then behaving like a devil! And in a way Francis, I just have a whole list of new things to worry about. But we're doing pretty well, I think. Got lots of family support so all I need to worry about is feeding Brodie and making time to shower etc.

yes - I noticed some photos Tony had posted have the same message on them now as shown above.
I always use Facebook as my photo host when I'm posting photos on here...seems to work okay so far, as long as I keep them posted on facebook (I usually make them visible only to me)

A week old today so I thought it was time we got on the Noddy outfit (and move to Tinypic for hosting)

Have you tried Imgur, Fiona? We were just talking about it on the Personal Photographs thread (under Introduce Yourself) — it's the one I use most often and it nearly always works perfectly.
Edit: I see you've had a success. Awww! Thanks so much for sharing — he's gorgeous.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)
Oh yes, I didn't notice the print at first — it is his Noddy outfit! A perfect start in life for him, Fiona.
