Sorry John, I've given you a straight red card for bringing good taste into disrepute by referring to County & their meccano ground on these forums!!!!John Pickup wrote:Get down to Meadow Lane and support County, they're top of the league you know.

Re: Football
Glad Brighton managed to rescue a point, Eddie. Pity they didn't go on to win the game, but I suppose a draw is better than nothing!
Forest didn't lose this evening...as they didn't play! Pleased with that result!!!!

As you say, one point is better than nothing, Number 6. Let’s hope Forest beat Norwich tomorrow evening.

Re: Football
I agree, Daisy. A draw was quite a good result for both teams.

Does that mean I've got a three match ban from this thread?number 6 wrote: Sorry John, I've given you a straight red card for bringing good taste into disrepute by referring to County & their mechano ground on these forums!!!!

Re: Football
Absolutely John! You were charged by the FA (Forum Admin) for misconduct. They were going to send you to watch Sheff Utd for the rest of the season, but I said that was very harsh & against your human rights, so a 3 match thread ban was dished out instead!!!!

If he flouts the ban, does that also mean he's revolting?

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Football
Forest sneaked a narrow 1-0 win over Norwich last night. The Reds deserved the win. The visitors didn't show much desire or cutting edge at all. I really expected more from them. It's one of those games where it's hyped up to be a good game, then turns out to be quite limp! A strange encounter indeed.
