It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Thank you, Daisy and Eddie, yes I had a very lovely birthday weekend .Daisy wrote:Happy Birthday Chrissie. I hope you have a lovely day.
Yesterday I skipped being on the computer, read a lot instead and watched two of my favorite movies.
André had to work yesterday that's why we already celebrated on Sunday and went out for lunch.

Re: Happy Birthday Chrissie777
Rob, it cooled a bit down today as the dew point got much lower and it's windy, but still sunny all day long. I had to bring Cody to the groomer this morning and it felt so nice outside after all these hot months. But unfortunately it's only a short break and we'll get 90+ Fahrenheit soon according to the weather report.Rob Houghton wrote:Happy Birthday, Chrissie! Hope it cools down for your birthday!
I forgot in which thread you've mentioned the old US SciFi movie "When Worlds Collide"? We watched it on Saturday and it was great, very different compared with the usual run of the mill SciFi film from the 1950's.
Great tip!
