Are you offering, Icecream?
I can't imagine living without tea, coffee, wine or water.
I think I'd have to pick tea, however - preferably Earl Grey.

Can't believe ginger beer isn't an option.

Beer . For non alcoholic probably coke. I've developed the naughty habit of buying the full sugar stuff too.

Beer or Hot Chocolate for me.

I'll stick to non-alcoholic for the moment: tea, coffee, hot chocolate and orange juice.
I'm not saying I don't like alcoholic drinks, too. However, I only drink in very moderate ways and so I wouldn't find it too hard to live without beer or whiskey, but if someone cut the supplies on tea... .
Cheers

Re: What is your favourite drink (hot or cold)?
I've gone 50:50 with wine, beer, coffee and juice. Luckily the juice option wasn't split into the various types so that means I can choose apple, orange, pineapple, grape .........
I also like tonic water (or toxic water as the other half calls it) but I've run out of options, oh well.
I don't drink tea at all, can't stand the stuff. Wonder if that makes me an anomoly?

If I could live here on this secret island always and always and always, and never grow up at all, I would be quite happy
Re: What is your favourite drink (hot or cold)?
I seldom drink tea. Not because I don't like it, but because the laziness in me doesn't want to fiddle around with tea bags and wait for them to brew! I much prefer instant coffee which is so much easier and quicker to prepare! And yes, I know you can get instant tea now, but I've never thought to try it.shadow wrote:I don't drink tea at all, can't stand the stuff. Wonder if that makes me an anomoly?
I'm virtually teetotal these days (mostly because I drive everywhere). I've never been a huge fan of alcohol anyway. I did go binge drinking quite often in my 20s, but that was the whole point - to get drunk! To get merry, to socialize, to get confident - but I never found it refreshing or thirst quenching. And I loathe the taste of beer! I've actually been quite bemused by episodes of Coronation Street where a character walks into the pub and says something like "I'm really thirsty, I could murder a pint!"
When I do have alcohol, it's usually Vodka but it's not regularly at all. Ironically, I have been going to the pub several times a week with a platonic friend during the daytime in recent months. She loves her beer, or at least a specific type (Stella) but I honestly can't tell one from the other. I'm usually on energy drinks such as Red Bull or Monster (very tired when I finish work!) - or just good old fashioned Coke! In fact the last drink I had in a pub with her (on my birthday) was actually a tomato juice!

As beers taste different, that seem to be a daft statement. It's a it like saying "I loathe the taste of hot drinks!" If you didn't like pork, you wouldn't say "I loathe the taste of food" would you?Stephen wrote: And I loathe the taste of beer!
