Don't worry, Daisy, Francis is alright. I sent him a private e-mail about 2 weeks ago and he told me that he is busy with other things. He will return to EBS eventually, I'm sure.

I received an email from Francis a few days ago. It is good to know that he is well.

All the bureaucratic hoops have been crawled through, so old Aurélien's second cataract operation has, at long last, been given a date......this coming Monday, April 10th.

All going well, by some 8 weeks after the op I should also have a new right-side lens for my spectacles. Yeay - decent binocular vision once more!

It has been quite a saga.
