Thank you for your kind message, Julie. It is much appreciated. Chick and I are going to have a drive to Tunbridge Wells later today where we'll probably have lunch and perhaps a cream tea! We shall certainly keep a lookout for Enid Blyton books in the second hand bookshops while we're there.

Speaking of bargains at books shops, I've finally got my own copy of The Valley of Adventure! I got it for $3.25 which I consider pretty good.
