What an interesting mystery! keep us informed of developments, Manzy! 8)

Maybe its a house that everyone THINKS has one occupant but in reality they are harbouring escaped convicts or illegal immigrants!!

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

I once had my own 'The Mystery of the Disappearing Newspaper'. I am sure quite a few of us have had that one at some point.

Manzy, Fatty would have been proud of you!

Have just stumbled upon this fascinating thread and ......

..... I want to know "what happened next"?

Has the trail gone quiet?

Has Mrs Legs Hurt met her comeuppance?

Have you invested in that CCTV camera?

Any more 'glues'?

Have you got yourself a shed yet to aid your investigation?

And, are you actually doing it all yourself, in your sleep - wandering the streets and collecting other people's rubbish?

I can barely bear the antici....

....... pation
:D

Last Wednesday AM some more fly tipped rubbish appeared outside my house. About 7/8 bags worth, 3 mixed in with mine and the others dumped on the corner. I was on my way to work so didn't have time to don rubber gloves and go digging again, but the bags were slightly see through and I could just see the same sort of miscellaneous garbage like the last time - odd bit of clothing, papers, etc etc.

However, the fly tipped bin bags were rather unusual in that they had odd text on them about recycling. Odd because I've never seen these bags before. Sure enough, 2 doors down was another one in someone's normal rubbish! So, the evidence points back to Two Doors Down as opposed to Mrs Legs Hurt because Two Doors Down are always slinging out odd rubbish loose on top of the bin bags. Like children's toys and clothing - but they don't have children and I've never heard any in that house.

Mrs Legs Hurt appears to throw out normal garbage in a normal fashion ie. in black bag and on pavement. Not bags and bags and then miscellaneous junk on top.

Unless someone is fly tipping into 3 spaces - Two Doors Down, my rubbish and On The Corner...

Time for CCTV I think!
