Thank you for all your good wishes!
Nothing really exciting for my birthday, although I'm going out for a meal later in the week (or maybe next week!) with two friends who all have birthdays between December and now! - a combined birthday meal!

Thank you all!
I already celebrated by buying a couple of Enid Blyton books!
Also bought the famous five quiz book from Amazon - as someone gave me an Amazon voucher.

Sorry to miss your birthday Rob - it's dangerous to be away from the forum for a single day at this time of year! I hop you had a great day.

Thanks Francis!
I had a good one and spent too much money (on line!) - on books - so it must have been good!

Happy Birthday, Rob — getting in a bit early, as I'm in Australia, but I
think it's just now ticked over to the 13th in the UK!
Hope you have a fantastic Blytonian day.

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure )

My dads birthday is today too so you're not alone on the 13th
I dunno what made me think of shopping really, I think it was just that you've mentioned that you like to buy the odd thing here and there; hardly ever though
