What's the best thing about Switzerland?

I don't know, but the flag is a big plus. :D

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Not really a joke, but a nice notice. I live in Schleswig-Holstein a little country between North Sea and Baltic Sea (East Sea). However on the North Sea there are a lot of dykes. However. Do you know what a dyke chicken is? A dyke chicken is a bird which is walking the entire day a long the dyke and owns a long and a short leg. -- Do you know how you will catch a dyke chicken? No Problem. You are shouting: Hallo dyke chicken! It will turn to you an ohhh ohh ohh falls down the dyke .... ;-) More to dyke chickens but only in German, I suppose it's a bird which is only to find in Germany, is there to read: http://kamelopedia.net/wiki/Deichhuhn" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (not the same: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.p ... %20chicken" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; )

That's a long diatribe to make just for an April Fool!

I remember someone years ago joking that some sheep have shorter legs on one side than the other so they can stay level on a slope. I guess many countries have adaptations of a similar idea. Thanks for sharing your dyke chicken joke Soenke. :)

Well, if we're going down that track...

Q. What do you call a woman with one leg shorter than the other?
