What makes you annoyed?

As opposite to the "What makes YOU tick" thread, I feel like wanting to know what makes you annoyed.

My list includes studying, phone calls when I'm napping, spam mail, no Internet, end of the hols, etc etc etc.

So what's your list? :)

Telesales phone calls - can't stand these! Trying to find parking spaces within a mile of where you want to shop. Muzak in shops. A library waiting list of months for the book you need to have read by next week. Trying (and failing!) at complicated cookery!

Heh, cookery makes me want to laugh. I often bake cakes and muffins and on the second day I dropped an egg, a bad egg on the floor! Boy, that did smell! Awful. Ever since then, I've given up the baking, but still my fingers itch to get out the ingredients!

Oh, me too! The smell was horrific! I think I was trying to make something relatively simple that day, but it was so horrible, we had to go out to eat just to get away from the smell...

Lol. :lol: :lol: :lol: Smells can be horrifying, can't they? :wink:

I'm not getting anywhere. Do you mean I have a long list or you have a long list? My list is, of course, not complete, but will love to see you list!

My brother my sister, they are all older then me and drive me mad.
Then comes their families which some of the children love to be horrible to moi, last time I stayed with them was a living nightmare. The joys of having a 14 year old niece, and a 15 year old nephew, who love to ruin my life.

What about me then, with a 15 year old big brother and a 15 month old little brother, both of who feel delighted to tease and annoy their sister? :roll: A few nights ago I was trying to put my brother to sleep, and the big one came in, and that excited the kid, I can tell you! He jumped up, started running around the room, practically rolling on the floor laughing out loud....it was like a zoo! The big brother joined in, and that made things all the worse! In the middle of all that, I screamed and said "Enough! It's his bedtime! Arham, get to bed, [big brother], get out of the room, and stop all that noise!!!!" My two brothers simply stared at me for a minute, and then the little one started rolling on the floor again! Oh, the cheek of a fifteen-month-old!

Ming, I think Nigel is getting at the fact that he's a grumpy old man, and everything annoys him.

Except, of course, for a pot of beer and a Blyton book. :D

Anyway, my list. The things that most annoy me are:

1. Spammers
2. Misbehaving boys (I'm sooooo glad I had girls)
3. Salesmen. Yet I married one, go figure.
4. My husband finishing the last glass of wine without asking if I want any.
5. Forgetting important things. Story of my life.

So do I get to join the ranks of grumpy old people? :D

What annoys me? Stupid miserable mean nasty rotten computer-printers that keep jamming when it's 9.30 and I'm still at work and want to go home but can't until I've finished this job and the printer won't print two sheets without jamming and I've got to get up every time and thump it.

(Guess what I've been doing tonight.) :roll:

Oh, yes, misbehaving boys are so much worse than girls. Why is that? I find it much easier to be patient with girls than boys. I can tell I am going to spoil any daughters of mine rotten.

Things that annoy me:

1. My dad, especially today;
2. Jehovah's Witnesses;
3. Rap music and culture;
4. Intelligent Design.

Who can be annoyed with a Blyton? :)
