Another Milestone

Postby Tony Summerfield » 20 May 2013, 16:11

The next person to join the Society will become our 2000 member!! I admit this figure is a bit misleading as almost 1700 of these no longer subscribe!

This is fairly similar to a bit in an article by Nicolette Jones in the Daily Telegraph a couple of weeks ago. She wrote:-

'The Enid Blyton Society (founded 1995) is flourishing, with more than 3200 members posting on its forums.'

The number is actually 3268, but it would have been more accurate if she had added that about 3200 of these no longer post!!

Oh dear, I hope I have more success at drumming up interest for the EBS than I did at selling AVON. :?
