Starting Polls

Post by Anita Bensoussane »

We've recently had a number of polls which I've had to delete, because they're repeats of older polls. As 70s-child pointed out in another thread, Booklover has collected all the polls together (see link below) and there should be plenty there to keep people busy:

I think we should have a poll to see if we want any more polls.

But we'd need to have a poll to see if we should have a poll to see if we want any more polls...

Talking of polls, I was in the Olympic village and saw a man carrying a pole. I said "are you a pole vaulter?"
He replied "No, I'm German, and how did you know my name was Vaulter?"

Boom boom!

I saw a Polish girl doing the Twist, and asked her if she was a pole dancer. She slapped my face. :|

Anita,

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly, but please don't delete the polls right now. I voted for many of them this morning (where it was still possible) and now I would love to read the old posts for each poll which might take me a few weeks.

Thanks!

Anita only deletes newly made polls that are duplicated of already existing ones, or ones that make no sense. The ones on that list will stay.
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.
