I like this idea. As I've mentioned elsewhere the username "Fiona" has been taken by someone who has only posted once! Though of course it might be hugely time consuming to do this!
"It's the ash! It's falling!" yelled Julian, almost startling Dick out of his wits...
"Listen to its terrible groans and creaks!" yelled Julian, almost beside himself with impatience.

I registered an awfully long time ago, as I was trying to find information on Cassette packs, I have only ever posted 2, (this being the 3rd time). I enjoy reading the discussions, and hearing other peoples point of views. I am a mother of a small child and do not have a lot of time to contribute to these discussions myself, and also, some of the discussions are so comprehensive that there is little I could add that would not be a repetition. I hope this means I am still welcome on the site.

I thought only those who post always read the topics not those who don't post. Do you ever read my posts they may not be a very good contribution but I always add to other topics for whatever I think of them. This makes the forums very interesting for me.

You're very welcome Clareyfairy. I think many of us lurk around reading the various contributions before taking the plunge and joining in. I know I did!
Zaidi, I'm not sure why you should think that only 'posters' read the forums. There are many more who look but don't join in! There are also topics which you may not be interested in but which others find fascinating - so you shouldn't feel the need to say anything on those. If you look at the bottom of the board index you will see who is on line and there are usually quite a number of 'guests'. Maybe some eventually join when they read something they would like to make a comment on.

Of course you are, Clareyfairy (what a name!). If ever you feel the need to post, then go ahead. If not, enjoy Zaidi's ramblings, if you can make head or tail of them! :D

Of course Nigel doesn't mean that Zaidi! I think if you read over your posts carefully before submitting them you may see how to make what you are trying to say a bit clearer at times.

Yes well put Daisy.......I'm sure its just the Rashomon Affect that sometimes occurs on the forums.

I always like reading Zaidis posts-they are always unique and stimulating.
I have great respect also for all our forum members who post here in english when that is not their mother tongue.

Regards

Pete
