Finally at last I am now able to connect with the Society site, without going through the dark tunnels to get here. My server has obviously corrected the problem somewhere along the line. I feel like I've finally escaped and can now view the site without problems.

I can also get onto your site now Keith. Lets hope the problem will never return.
