21 — not bad for me. Quite a lot of guesses once again!

I'm a bit shocked -- I only got one wrong!! 29 is by far my best score ever - although I must admit there weren't many school story questions, and those are my weakness. now I'm wondering which one I got wrong!!

Well done on your high score Rob. I got a fairly average 23. As some of the questions seemed familiar, I think I must put the wrong answers each time.

I was slightly disturbed to see that some user names were items of underwear - surely not appropriate for a quiz about children's books? I wondered if it was the same person having more than one go, as the highest score was the most recent. Or maybe I just have a suspicious mind?

I've just checked, Katharine, and some - but not all - are indeed by the same person. Their extra turns will be deleted but I'm leaving them for now so Tony can see them.

I suppose underwear does feature prominently in some children's stories - though not Enid Blyton ones! I'm thinking of books like The Queen's Knickers, the "Captain Underpants" series and Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging.

29 eh? We have a brainbox in our midst. Congratulations on that Rob, it's a great score. One I can only dream of with my tactics of frantic guessing at high speed.

18 this month. About normal for me.

Only 23 this time round...there were a lot about school stories, and although I've read them all, they are my definite weakness!

Also a trick question about Amelia Jane...not in the versions I have!!!

19 for me — not at all bad, since I have very little knowledge of the school stories either and there were several others there that were guesses for me.

I agree about the Amelia Jane one — I reckon we've had it before. Could the quiz questions possibly be restricted to things Enid Blyton actually wrote, not bowdlerised replacement characters (I suspect we all know what for)??

We'll have to change it for next year! I didn't realise it was a replacement character when we were sent the question as it was a while since I'd read any Amelia Jane stories.

I got 23, which is not bad for me, given that I had to guess quite a lot of them as usual. I see that makes me second on the chart at the moment — probably the highest I've ever been — but I bet that'll soon change once the real pros (like the real Gran/Daisy) come onto the scene!

After testing out the quiz under the name 'Daisy'? (only joking of course, lol!)

It's interesting that Daisy had her name used...shows it can't be by anyone regular to the forums, or else they would know that Daisy frequently does the quiz and usually gets the top score. Unless of course they were trying to make it look as if Daisy was suddenly bottom of the class!
