You gave me a clue now, but it's no good! I'll try and do it tomorrow.

Congrats. I am so pleased for you.Darrell71 wrote:Second on the score chart, most likely for a very very short time, with 24. Just 2 seconds behind snugglepot.
I must say, it's a pretty good score considering so many were guesses.
I was thrilled to get 24. I know it will not be the top score for long, though.

18... not too bad, considering a lot of them were guesses!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

Re: Monthly Quiz
Not good for me this month! 19. And I was sooooo slow!
There seemed a lot of questions about school series, which I'm not that familiar with.

When Enid Blyton, sorry Bruno Vincent can only manage a score of 17 it surely indicates it was indeed a very tough quiz....

Re: Monthly Quiz
I still don't understand how some people manage this quiz in 2 minutes...it takes me longer than that to scroll down the questions. I'd have to just click random answers in order to complete it at 2 minutes, without even reading the questions. I'm convinced it all depends on the device we are using and the speed of our connection - though I know that sounds like an excuse. Most times it takes around 15 seconds to load a page with our bad broadband connection, so surely this affects the quiz? (he suggested hopefully!)

Re: Monthly Quiz
I used to be a bit slower on my laptop because you have to line the cursor up on the down arrow to click it and that adds valuable seconds each time, but I think I'm quicker now I'm using my kindle because you can just touch the screen to move it up, there's no fiddling with mouse buttons or laptop touchpads; one drag of the finger and you've got a load of new questions.
I think it was the 'click the side arrow to move it up' and then 'move the cursor all the way back across to the questions' and then 'move the cursor back again to the arrow again' that was slowing me down.
That probably adds at least three or four seconds each time.
With a touchscreen you can just tap, tap, tap on each answer, then a quick drag up the screen reveals the next few questions, no fiddly clicking.

Re: Monthly Quiz
Yes, I think it is these scroll buttons etc that add time. I'm also someone who has to read a question twice usually to get it to sink in!
