Website Additions
There have been two recent additions to the website. The shop now has its own button on the left hand side of the Home Page. The five new booklets that were first available on the Enid Blyton Day are all in there waiting to be bought!
I have also added to the Famous Five section the titles in nine European languages - although several of the Italian titles are missing at present as is one Russian title. As there was no special section for this I have put them above the reviews of each book. At some stage I may add foreign language titles to some of the other series.

I see that very few back copies of The Journal are available. A testament to its popularity and quality. I remain sure that The Journal will in itself become a collectors item at some stage in the future.
Why are the facsimile booklets only available to society members? Is it because we are so special or is there another reason. It seems that if they were available to all then a couple of extra sales might be generated.

Re: Website Additions
Nice to see the web button for the shop on the home page. Let's hope that as it's more noticable, then sales will rise.
Julian gave an exclamation and nudged George.

You are all very special, John! That's not the reason though, it is all to do with copyright. I make sure that any booklet that has just Enid Blyton stories in it is only available to Society members. If people are desperate to read any of the booklets, they can always join the Society!Lucky Star wrote:Why are the facsimile booklets only available to society members? Thanks, Tony. It's good to have the online button displayed in a prominent place.

I have just added a tenth language, Finnish - and I think that was the biggest test yet on the spelling, I certainly wouldn't know how to pronounce the names!Viv of Ginger Pop wrote:Wow - that's a lot of careful spelling
