Sunny Stories number 553 - signed...?

Post by Rob Houghton »

Saw this on eBay...supposedly signed by Enid Blyton...but I'm pretty sure it's fake. A snip at just £125...

hearts mad delight,
Sing on, sing on, and when the sun is gone
I'll warm me with your echoes
through the night.'

No, I wouldn't buy that. If I didn't have that issue and the seller knocked £120 off I might be tempted. :)

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

It wasn't the worst I've ever seen. What are the giveaway signs the signature is not correct?

all the signatures I've seen arent written in thick pen but in ink - and usually Enid joined her first name to her second in signatures - though maybe not every time. the signed book I have she wrote 'Best Wishes' joined together, and Enid Blyton joined together.
