TIME Magazine - 1955 with Blyton educational article.
Interesting to see this on eBay - with an article about Education and Little Noddy - by Enid Blyton.

Interesting stuff. What a pity the seller hasn't scanned the relevant page(s)!

I am not too sure about this as I am wondering if the article is about Enid Blyton and Little Noddy as there is nothing to suggest that the article is by her.

Whether it's by her or about her, I'd love to read it!

And nor am I, but if it is by Enid Blyton it should go into the Cave, but if it is just about her it wouldn't belong in the Periodical section. Perhaps someone else will buy it and let me know!

Re: TIME Magazine - 1955 with Blyton educational article.
The seller got back to me and said it is just an article about Enid Blyton and education, with photos of Enid and the Noddy In Toyland pantomime characters etc - probably similar to those we've seen before. So it's not an Enid Blyton-written article, just about her.

I wouldn't buy it myself, but it is sort of fascinating to see Enid Blyton and Little Noddy in the company (so to speak) of Gloria Vanderbilt, Frank Sinatra, Truman Capote, Isamu Noguchi, Gian-Carlo Menotti and a new military policy for the age of atom deadlock!!

It was a nuisance. An adventure was one thing - but an adventure without anything to eat was quite another thing. That wouldn't do at all. (The Valley of Adventure)

If it was just a couple of pounds I'd have considered buying it. It would have been interesting to read an article about Enid that was written while she was still alive.

Re: TIME Magazine - 1955 with Blyton educational article.
I have access to a very good university library. I could probably get a hold of a copy of this Time magazine, and probably photocopy or scan the article in question. Would that help? Who should I email the scan to?
I am wondering why this American news magazine would cover an English author like Blyton, almost unknown in the USA. Maybe she was better known in the USA in the 50s?

Re: TIME Magazine - 1955 with Blyton educational article.
Apparently this edition was 'the Atlantic Edition' which has articles about European countries, Africa, etc, so maybe this is why Enid Blyton gets a mention!
