Book Giveaway!!
Hi everyone, I've got a lot of Enid Blyton books that I'm hoping to give away (only for the charge of postage) because moving house soon and I can't take the entirety of my collection of Enid Blyton books with me. I have come to the realization that it is only reasonable to have one copy of each book, Lol, so I'm aiming to strip down my collection to just one copy per book! I'm going to keep all my old hardbacks, because I still love looking at them and I still really value them and I really want to come back to these books when I am older and I have more time - but I would be thrilled to pass on some of my duplicates to other Blyton fans! Of course it would be best if somebody could come and pick them up, but I know that most of you live either down South, or abroad, so the only other option would to be for you to pay postage charges.
So the books I'm talking about - there are just too many to list, I'm talking literally hundreds, but it's a bit of a mixture really - all sorts of editions, and series, and stand-alones. Any requests?
Otherwise, I might just put them on ebay or take them to a charity shop, I just really wanted to make sure they went to a good home.

Oh, it's hard having a clear-out like that - though necessary once in a while! I hope you find good homes for all your spare books, Poppy!

Re: Book Giveaway!!
I'm still looking for a few modern copies (the newer the better) to do comparisons with. First titles in series or stand alones would be excellent.

Re: Book Giveaway!!
Hi,
Firstly, IceMaiden, I do have The Poppy Storybook but I'll be keeping that coz it's my only copy - sorry!
Billy - I'm pretty sure I have a spare copy of Tales of Brave Adenture. I'll double check tomorrow and PM you.
Fiona, yeah, I'll get back to you about that tomorrow, I'm pretty sure I've got some newer versions of books that you could have. I'll send you a PM tomorrow sometime.
Thanks for the replies.

Re: Book Giveaway!!
Do you happen to have a hardback copy of 'Five Go To Smuggler's Top' with the coloured frontispiece illustration?

Re: Book Giveaway!!
That would be great, Poppy. I have already done the firsts of Malory Towers, St Clares, Famous Five, Adventure Series and Five-Find Outers. Anything else would be great.

Hi,
I don't know if I'm too late to respond, but do you have any Five Find-Outers books (1980s or earlier)?
Thanks,
Kirsty
